About L’Eau Libre
L’Eau Libre releases iconoclasts. Creators who lived, dressed and moved through the world entirely on their own terms. Those who understood that some of us were never meant to smell like everyone else.
You outgrew the system and left with a headache from the nosebleeds. Does anyone still have taste, or have they rotted in the web of the wide world? The more people fall stupidly in sync, the less you care to watch.
Our fragrances are complex. Timeless. Not easy to understand, because they are inspired by freethinking rebels with a cause. By people who let their inner vagabond craft their signature instead of copying one.
Founder
Alexander, 32, studied fashion and moved through the creative industry from both sides. First as a creator, then in the technical world of marketing, where taste met measurement.
For me, perfume was never an accessory. Not something added as a final layer or worn to fit in. Iconic scents arouse me. They enable me to supercharge my queerness.
Perfume is my art form. A discipline shaped by art, literature and fashion, and ultimately by the game of seduction.
Ethics
L’Eau Libre gives 21 percent of its profits to causes connected to each freedom seeker. Not as a gesture, but as a necessary continuation. If we draw inspiration from someone’s life, we take responsibility and owe respect to the worlds they came from.
The same care extends to how each fragrance is made. The supply chain is closely examined, materials are chosen with precision, and partners are selected with intent. Small, independent and held to a standard that reflects what this art form deserves.
