Communicating with you

We may use your contact details to respond to enquiries, provide information relating to your relationship with us and communicate with you about our services.

  • Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to provide a product or service you have requested.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process information to comply with applicable law.
  • Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests and those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Consent — where we have asked for and received your consent, for example for certain marketing or tracking activities.

This includes Klaviyo for email marketing and customer communications.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law, legal proceedings or a lawful request from a competent authority, or where necessary to protect our rights, property or safety.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and suitable safeguards are in place as required by applicable data protection law.

Klaviyo states that it uses the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses as mechanisms for certain transfers of personal data from the EEA.

9. How long do we keep your personal data?

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

The appropriate retention period depends on the nature of the information, the purpose for which it is processed and applicable legal obligations.

For example, certain transaction and financial records may need to be retained for longer periods to comply with legal and tax requirements.

When personal data is no longer required, we will delete it or anonymise it where appropriate.
